Dancer inspiration.

So yesterday in ballet class we had a guest speaker. His name was skykar, and he was a former student of my teacher, Stephanie. Skylar graduated this past may, and in August he was asked to dance with Utah Regional Ballet. It was amazing to get to meet a professional dancer my own age. And very inspiring. Even though he's been dancing since he was nine, so he has a lot more experience than I do, it's still an incredible story; to be hand picked into a company rarely happens.
I've only been dancing on and off for about 4 or 5 years. I had an extremely late start and it took me till about a year ago to discover my passion for ballet. It is my goal to be able to dance on pointe and comfortably audition for a company. I don't expect to make it as a professional dancer, but I want to push myself as far as I can go. And someday I will be able to audition for a company. I started pointe a couple of months ago and I am excited to see myself develop :) woohoo!
